Welcome to my website! My work has evolved over the years, but my goal is to make pieces that you will want to leave out for people to see---functional art! 

This means that not only do they look good but they must function as intended. Baking dishes have handles that accommodate pot holders, they sit solidly on the oven racks and are sized to fit standard recipes; mug handles are positioned for good balance and fit small as well as large hands; spouts don’t dribble. All of my functional work is intended to be used. The glazes I use are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. My sculptural and outdoor ware is meant to be displayed outdoors all year round.

Although each piece I make is unique, I love making collections. Repeating a form in a series allows me to explore and perfect the design. I believe everyone has a creative mind...if you see something you like or have an idea, let's collaborate! I have access to stoneware clay in speckled brownstone, chocolate brown, red stoneware, white stoneware and porcelain. My work is fired in an electric kiln to 2,167 degrees Fahrenheit (cone 5). I hope the pieces I make will become your favorites.
